Facebook

Facebook, the social network that has taken over. From desktops, laptops, phones, Ipads, and any other media gadget, you will find people checking their Facebook. Facebook has networked millions of people, some people will add people on Facebook that they don't even know. I love Facebook, I find it is a great place to find old friends, new friends and "stalk" people LOL.
A lot of times we post things on Facebook to tell all our friends, what we are doing, what we are thinking, how we are feeling. But a lot of times we never really say how we are really feeling... or what is really going on with our lives. Or we might use Facebook, to attack others and make ourselves feel better.
The truth is, Facebook sometimes takes over our Facetime- with Jesus.  In this day with the knowledge of the world at our fingertips, we will find ourselves glued to our computers. We search for answers and acceptance from people on social network sites, when all along Jesus is telling us to come to him.
Matthew 28:11
"Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest."

We need more Facetime than Facebook in our lives. We need to draw close to Jesus and tell him what is going on, how we feel, and ask him to reveal things to us. Don't get me wrong I love Facebook, but without that balance of Facetime with Jesus, it becomes a burden just like anything else. Jesus wants Facetime with us. He wants to bring us rest-peace-joy-love in our lives. Sometimes you just have to shut everything down, and get some Facetime with Jesus.

God Bless
