If you are going through Hell.......... Don't Stop

So many times, I find myself going through a "valley"(good church lingo) and I get all down about it, but i also find myself almost camping out there. What I mean is, sometimes we are going through Hell, but its like we dont intend on moving on either. Almost as if we can't see things getting any better, or we don't really want to put any effort to see things get better.
James 1: 2-4
Consider it pure joy, my brothers, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith develops perseverance. Perseverance must finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything.

So when we are going through trials( Hell, Valleys, whatever you want to call it) we are to consider it... what? consider it joy?!? See our first reaction is to call all our friends and have a pity-party, the Bible tells us we should call all our friends and have a real party LOL. No but really it says that we know that if our faith is being tested that it will make us more mature and complete in Christ, and we should be happy about that. Not so much happy about what we are going through, but happy that this trial is going to make you stronger.
So if you are going through Hell, don't stop. Don't camp out there, but learn and move on to what else God has for you. Look at whatever it is as a chance to mature your faith, and get closer to God.

God Bless
Pastor Russell
